If you’re searching for creation Bible crafts, then you’ve come to the right place. But be forewarned, you might just get hooked on Felting Through the Bible. Because it’s fun and you can’t do just one. Especially if you have a touch of OCD. You’re going to want the whole collection!
This is the first project in the Felting Through the Bible Series.
If you missed the introduction, make sure you go back and check that out because we went through materials and techniques in the introductory video there. I invite you to join me on a journey crafting our way through popular Bible stories. Let’s get started!
Creation Craft for Kids
This is a cute project to do with your tweens or teens to represent God’s mighty power and it’s the first in the Felting Through the Bible Series.
Our verses for this project are:
“In the beginning God created the sky and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1 (ICB)
“Through his power all things were made – things in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, all powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ.” – Colossians 1:16 (ICB)
Free Template for this project (download here and print)
Felt sheets (affiliate link) 1 blue and 1 green sheet of felt
Embroidery floss (coordinating with the felt sheets…be creative…I used green but brown or blue would have worked)
Twine (for your ornament hanging hook)
I hope you enjoy this project and have fun making memories along the way. Next time, we’ll be making an apple. See you then!
